Below are some answers to common questions
asked at Dade City Gun Club

  • A. If it is not Christmas Day, Easter or a Thursday and no extreme weather threatens this area then yes, we are open.

  • A. Non-Member Adults: $25 Cash ($26 Credit Card) per shooter, per day

    Non-Member Youths (Age 8-17): $10 Cash ($11 Credit Card) per youth under immediate supervision of paying adult

    Cash, checks and credit/debit cards accepted for payment

  • A. Yes we accept cash, check, credit or debit cards for all fees.

  • A. Our membership for a family is $300 cash ($301 Credit Card) for the first year and $150 cash ($151 Credit Card) every year that membership is maintained within 90 days of the expiration date on your card.

  • A. You can bring cash, chec kor credit card to the range and the on duty RSO will help you complete the application card. You can also pick up an application card and mail it with your check to:

  • A. Yes, with correct ID approved by one of our four club officers the application fee will be waived for Active Duty Military and active Law Enforcement.

  • A. No, we do not allow tactical shooting such as draw from holster or double taps on the public range. Only during competitive matches or club training classes.

  • A. No to all but suppressors.

  • A. No we do not.

  • A. No, our range is not designed to accommodate prone shooting.

  • A. Yes, depending on the number of interested people, we offer the NRA First Step Pistol Orientation. Check and inquire on our event calendar.

  • A. Yes all are welcome to take part. You would pay the daily range fee plus any fee attached to that particular match.

  • A. Training is available, check the event calendar. Also check “NRA Training in my area” for a Personal Protection Outside the Home class.v

  • A. Yes, we do for a limited time. If it is a small item of little value, it is usually kept in the range shed. Anything of higher value will be locked in the clubhouse office.

  • A.Your membership card(s) should be completed within 30 days and will be placed in a box on the range. After 30 days, you can ask the on-duty RSO to check for your card(s). Memberships are processed in batches. If after 30 days your cards are not available on the range please contact the club secretary at secretary@dadecitygunclub.com and we'll track it down.

  • A. No. Club policy dictates who may instruct on club property.

  • A. Yes, we have members with experience in many different areas of shooting and hunting. Typically, there is a “bull session” in the morning at 8 am before shooting starts at 9 am. Also, at cease fire breaks most members are happy to share their knowledge. Our is a friendly range where we share our enthusiasm of shooting sports.
