The 1-2-3 Three Target Match is a draw from the holster match fired at 5 yards with a Semi Auto Pistol or Center Fire Revolver. This match is a great way to test your ability to draw and shoot in the proper sequence and in the shortest time.

Equipment:

  • Center Fire Revolver or Semi-Auto Pistol.

  • Side Carry Holster Only - NO Back, Crossdraw or Shoulder rigs permitted.

  • Revolver shooters must have 1 speed loader with appropriate holsters/pouches

  • Semi-Auto shooters must have two magazines with appropriate pouches.

Scoring utensils:

  • Pen or Pencil plus chalk or target pasters.

Ammunition:

  • 18 Rounds of ammunition.

Targets:

  • Three 10 inch round bulls eye targets are provided per shooter.

Course of Fire:

  • At the sound of the buzzer, shooter draws from the holster and fires 2 consecutive 9 shot strings.

  • String 1 - 1 shot in Left target, 2 shots in middle target, 3 shots in right target, 2 shots in middle target, and 1 shot in left target.

  • String 2 - 1 shot in right target, 2 shots in middle target, 3 shots in left target, 2 shots in middle target, and 1 shot in right target.

Scoring: Each shooter is timed. Your score is the time it takes to shoot the 2 nine round shot strings. There are no points for bulls eyes, or Xs. You must shoot two nine round shot strings in the sequence above. After firing 18 rounds, each of the three targets must have 6 rounds within the scoring rings. If you shoot any target out of order, or the wrong number of shots at any target, or any shot outside the scoring rings, your time does not count and you are disqualified. The score is the number of seconds to get 18 shots in the correct order in three targets.
